The uniqueness of our program is the involvement of a student’s head, heart, and hands.

Head

Academics

Our professors are mature, educated, ministry professionals who commit their knowledge, wisdom and energy to helping students gain biblical proficiency and ministry experience in a safe, small cohort of friends.

Heart

Mentoring

Mentoring is the heart of City View’s philosophy. Each student chooses a person experienced in ministry, who walks with them throughout their seminary journey, imparting guidance, listening to frustrations, answering questions, and identifying strengths. Mentors talk students through class assignments, read and discuss books that challenge and encourage students to grow in faith and purpose.

Hands

Practicum

Practicum is the practical side of seminary education. City View gives credit to a student’s ministry outside of class. We encourage students to try new things and boldly step into fresh experiences to help them form a well-rounded life of faith and service.
